When mountains bloom, and flowers walk,
There lived two maidens, so gentle and fair,
Vulcana of Fire, and Zephyra of Air.
Gentle as the springtime breeze,
Vibrant as the autumn leaves,
Eyes that twinkle with tender care,
This was her, Zephyra of Air.
Justice brought like the winter frost,
Lighting passions from the summer lost,
Standing tall, with no code higher,
This was her, Vulcana of Fire.
With these two guardians of precious life,
The Land of Harmonia was without strife,
Until Chaos crashed upon its shore,
Devouring earth and darkening its core.
"You shall not reek your deathly stench,
Your hunger for the end, shall I quench!"
Vulcana of Fire, charged with her blade,
Red with the destruction Chaos had made.
"Stop, my sister! Hold your sword,
Is Chaos not the One we've been looking for?
To fill the void that the Earth seeks,
A king for its valleys, and a Lord for its peaks?"
Zephyra of Air sought the light from the dark,
To quell her sister's furious spark.
"What good, my dear Zephyra, can Chaos bring?
But a lonesome, crippling, savage sting
To the land of Harmonia which we love so well,
With all laid to waste, where nothing can dwell?"
Vulcana of Fire, sought justice to bring,
Unfathomable could Chaos be made Earth's King!
Summoned did she the flames of the right,
To drown the beast in her holy light,
"Pig! Boar! You eat with no constraint,
Do you not see this world that you taint,
From your unconstrained mouth, and your avaricious claw,
Be purified and fall beneath Harmonia's law!"
Pierced and seared with a righteous blade,
Judged and condemned to be Earth's slave,
"Prove your worth in this land or perish,
Show me that you can love and cherish!"
Stripped of his might and beastly form,
Now a mere mortal with dirt adorn,
"A new name I grant you, despair no more,
No longer do you crawl and live on all fours,
Gaius, thus you are named, serve the Earth well,
Abandon your former devlish shell,
Though Vulcana stands right, still hope from above,
I believe you can grow to cherish and love,
And become the third guardian of this land,
To fulfill the requirement Harmonia demands."
